Just like you, my life is centered around my pet, Sophie. She is a spunky little Yorkie mix that I rescued from a puppy mill when she was 8 weeks old. I am fortunate to have photos that represent the many memories we’ve shared together from hiking mountain trails to roaming the streets of New York City to exploring our new home in LA. I know how significant and important your pet’s presence in your life is and I love giving my clients memories that they can cherish for a lifetime.
Self-taught photographer, born animal lover, and world traveler. I travel all around the US, but am currently based in Los Angeles, California. I'm a lover of spontaneity which drives my skill for shooting on location and capturing intimate moments between humans and animals. Having worked with animals from a very young age, I have a lot of insight for how to bring out the best in every animal I photograph.
Commercially, I have worked with companies such as Purina, Amazon.com, DogSpot, and many others. While photographing animals is my specialty, I also have experience shooting lifestyle products, headshots, couples, seniors, and families.
I grew up in a small town in the Midwest around horses, dogs, cats, snakes, rodents, etc. In college I earned two degrees, Art and Zoology, which makes me particularly well suited for photographing animals of all shapes and sizes. I have also had the opportunity to work with exotic animals like big cats and elephants. I believe in the ethical treatment and training practices for all species.
